When we are born into this world, we are born into sin and all the desires that comes with it. When we are born again, our Spirit is awoken, and we can now tell right from wrong. Many Christians, even though they love God, constantly struggle with desires that are not of God. Why is this? Because we are still living in this world, and exposed to it and the devil does not want you to be in right standing with God. What can I do? Jesus did it all for you, when he went to the cross. Jesus said greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. Like everything else, you need to practice and exercise faith. When you feel that wrong desire pulling at you, start to quote God’s word and pray. Darkness cannot be where light is. Don’t put yourself in compromising positions. The closer you grow to God, the less you will want the world. Start to enjoy God’s word today!
