God gave us the gift of choice, to choose the outcome of our lives. Right in the beginning God said we can choose life and blessings or death and curses. Who would choose death and curses, yet we do, every time we make choices that contradict God’s word and commands. God does not punish us every time we disobey, but disobedience takes us out of His blessing and His will. There are only two forces at work in this world, God and the devil. God’s word and commands are there for us to be able to go through life and succeed, to be able to reach our maximum potential and purpose. We so often see His commands as restrictive and limiting instead of the opposite. Ask any athlete in training and they will say their coach is “cramping their style”, but that athlete with the gold runs to hug the same coach with all the joy and excitement in the world, because they reached their potential. You are a gold medalist. Commit to God’s word and instruction explicitly and watch how He will transform your life. GO FOR GOD AND YOU GO FOR GOLD!
