Many times in life we can’t understand why certain things happen to us, when we feel like we are doing everything the Lord requires, and we get disappointed. David felt far worse than that when he was out being a man of integrity and came back to find his village burned and every woman, child and possession missing. The Bible says, “David encouraged himself in the Lord” and Lord told Him what to do next. At the end of that passage, David not only recovered every woman, child and possession, but gained the enemy’s possessions too, and his disappointment was turned into dancing because he continued to trust the Lord, knowing God would not let him down. Even if we don't understand the current circumstances, get up and praise the Lord in your disappointment. Get out those dancing shoes, your time is coming.
