So many times we read scriptures that seem to cramp our style or kill our fun, and so we don't obey them. Just as a child doesn't listen to Mom when she says stay out of the sun because they cant see themselves burning. When evening comes and the child is all sunburnt they want to blame mom! It is the same with God, we dont obey His instruction, but are so quick to blame Him when things go wrong. Every scripture is there to lead us to a life of blessing and success, but we have to trust and obey Him even when it seems crazy.
